Let's just be honest.
This has become my go-to phrase (for myself) recently, before doing anything. This sounds a bit rude, and in most cases, "politically incorrect," but it might just be the hard truth that everyone has to admit.
Here are some examples:
After working in different companies in different countries, big or small, a sad thing I observed and keep observing is that some people's daily work becomes justifying their value in the company rather than creating value. Let's just be honest, this is bad for personal growth and company development.
In the past years, we dumped a lot of money trying to build dev-rel on top of a bad product narrative. Let's just be honest, no matter how hard we push, the market won't accept it. A good product needs minimal promotion.
Some entrepreneurs focus too much on pleasing politicians with ideas of "AI sovereignty." But real power comes from winning new markets. Let's just be honest, If your product is truly great, you won’t need to worry about sovereignty at all.
Let's just be honest, acknowledge the fact, and move forward.
